Madum Lake is the largest lake on the Himmerland peninsula of Jutland, Denmark, formed in a glacial kettle hole and covering about 2.04 square kilometres with a maximum depth of 7.5 metres, spanning the Rebild and Mariagerfjord municipalities. It is protected as part of Natura 2000 site number 18, an 8,748-hectare area that also includes the Rold Skov forest and the Lindenborg river valley, and is designated under the EU Habitats Directive as a bird sanctuary of international importance, alongside its popularity as a swimming destination.
