Padjelanta National Park lies in Norrbotten County in Swedish Lapland, established in 1962 and, at about 198,400 hectares, is one of the largest national parks in Sweden. It borders Norway to the west and is primarily an open, flat landscape surrounding the two lakes Vastenjávrre and Virihávrre.
