Río Clarillo National Park, also known as the Río Clarillo National Reserve, lies in the Santiago Metropolitan Region of Chile about 45 kilometers southeast of Santiago near Pirque and was established in 1982, covering about 101.85 square kilometers. It protects native central Chilean flora and fauna within Valdivian temperate forest and Andean foothill terrain, including stands of the Cordilleran cypress (Austrocedrus chilensis).
