Home›Region›ContinentBrowse ByContinentThis dimension groups states by the continent their country is located on. Wikipedia notes, almost as an aside, that "continental crust is only known to exist on Earth," a reminder that the very idea of a continent is itself a fact about this one planet. Browsing by continent groups a state with others from the same landmass.FactsContinentSourcesComments (0)Reader Challenges (0)FactsComparisonPrimary AssociationWell-attestedFrance 1ContinentFilter Results5 entriesArea (sq km)All7,688,287 (1)10,186,000 (1)17,840,000 (1)30,370,000 (1)44,579,000 (1)Country CountAll1 (1)12 (1)44 (1)49 (1)54 (1)Highest Elevation (m)All2228 (1)5642 (1)5895 (1)6967 (1)8849 (1)PopulationAll27,801,023 (1)434,254,119 (1)745,173,774 (1)1,393,676,444 (1)4,694,576,167 (1)Show ResultsBrowseCompareAfricaContinent18 entriesAsiaContinent3 entriesAustraliaContinent2 entriesEuropeContinent15 entriesSouth AmericaContinent7 entriesSources1.
