First-level administrative divisions designated Region, the term France, Italy, Ghana, Chile, Denmark and the Philippines use, among others, for their primary subnational units. Belongs here: a first-level division named Region in its own country's usage. Does not belong here: this same atlas's own region entity type, a supra-national grouping with its own slug prefix, which this subcategory never groups.
