Lisbon District is a district on the western coast of Portugal. The district capital is the city of Lisbon, which is also Portugal's national capital. From its creation in 1835 until 1926 it included the area of what is now Setubal District. Its area is 2,800 square kilometers; the infobox gives no as-of year for its population figure, so population is left unrecorded here as a gap.
