Shaanxi is a province in northwestern China. It borders Inner Mongolia to the north, Shanxi and Henan to the east, Hubei, Chongqing and Sichuan to the south, and Gansu and Ningxia to the west. Its 2020 population was about 39,530,000 across an area of about 205,800 square kilometers, and its capital is Xi'an.
