Sichuan is an inland province in southwestern China, located in the Sichuan Basin and Tibetan Plateau, between the Jinsha River to the west, the Daba Mountains to the north, and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to the south. The 2020 census recorded a population of 83,674,866 across an area of about 485,000 square kilometers, and its capital is Chengdu.
