Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean, one of the northernmost of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles. It lies east of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, directly north of Saint Martin. The territory is a flat, low-lying island of coral and limestone, and its capital is The Valley. Its land area is about 91 square kilometres, and its 2024 estimated population was 16,010.
