Qandala is an ancient port town in the Qandala District of the Bari region in the autonomous Puntland state of northeastern Somalia. It has a population of around 19,300 and sits on a wadi estuary that forms a natural harbor on the Gulf of Aden, about 75 kilometers east of the Puntland capital, Bosaso.
