Bignona is a town with commune status in the Ziguinchor Region of Senegal, in the Casamance area of the country's southwest. Two national roads, the N4 and N5, connect it to Ziguinchor, Kaolack, and Banjul, and it appeared briefly in the 2004 Spanish film Binta and the Great Idea. The 2023 census recorded 28,642 residents across 16.88 square kilometers, a density of about 1,697 people per square kilometer.
