Officially the Brussels-Capital Region, a region of Belgium made up of 19 municipalities including the City of Brussels, which is the capital of Belgium. Located in the central portion of the country, it forms an enclave within the Flemish Region and lies less than 4 kilometers from the Walloon Region, belonging to both the French Community of Belgium and the Flemish Community.
