Bursa is a city in northwestern Turkey and the administrative center of Bursa Province, the fourth most populous city in Turkey and the second most populous in the Marmara region after Istanbul. Once the first major capital of the early Ottoman Empire, Bursa is known for its historic mosques and tombs of early Ottoman sultans, its thermal baths, and its long-standing textile and automotive industries.
