Kericho is the largest town in Kericho County, Kenya, in the highlands west of the Kenyan Rift Valley and on the edge of the Mau Forest. Its warm, temperate climate makes the surrounding area well suited to agriculture, and the town is especially known as a center of large scale tea cultivation.
