Kingstown is the capital and largest city of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, located on the main island of Saint Vincent in Saint George parish. It serves as the country's main port and largest commercial center, and functions as the hub for the agricultural industry and a tourist entry point. It had 12,909 residents as of the 2012 census, making it the country's most populous settlement.
