Korhogo is a city in northern Ivory Coast, seat of Savanes District, Poro Region and Korhogo Department. The 2014 census recorded its population at 243,048, the fourth-largest in the country and the largest in northern Ivory Coast, and tradition holds it was founded by Nangui, a 14th-century Senufo patriarch, making it the capital of the Senufo people. The city produces cotton, kapok fiber, rice, millet, peanuts, corn and yams, and its sights include the Peleforo Gbon Coulibaly Regional Museum and a woodcarvers' quarter.
