Nasser is a city in Beni Suef Governorate, Egypt, previously known as Bush and, in ancient Greek, as Pois; it was renamed for former Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser. Its 2023 population was 427,926, comprising 146,917 urban and 281,009 rural residents across 219.6 square kilometers, up from 7,091 residents recorded in 1885.
