Rustenburg is a city at the foot of the Magaliesberg mountain range and the most populous city in South Africa's North West province. In 2017 the city's gross domestic product reached 63.8 billion rand, accounting for 21.1 percent of the province's GDP, and it was one of the official host cities of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, serving as the England national football team's base camp.
