Luxembourg's own Wikipedia infobox lists three formation dates: elevation to Grand Duchy within the German Confederation on 9 June 1815, independence in personal union with the Netherlands under the Treaty of London on 19 April 1839, and the end of that personal union with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, completing full sovereignty, on 23 November 1890. The 1839 Treaty of London date is recorded here as the independence date.
