Glacial Till Deposition

Glacial and Periglacial Processes

The direct deposition of unsorted rock debris, ranging from fine clay to large boulders, straight from melting glacial ice with no sorting by meltwater. Till blankets much of the land once covered by ice sheets and forms the raw material of many glacially derived landforms including moraines and drumlins.
