Anderdalen National Park protects a stretch of the island of Senja in Troms county, Norway, within Senja Municipality. Established by royal decree in 1970 and enlarged in 2004, the 134 square kilometer park preserves a coastal landscape shaped by glaciers, with hard granite bedrock underlying coastal pine forest that includes trees more than 600 years old, as well as birch and floodplain woods along its rivers. It provides habitat for moose, semi-domesticated reindeer, foxes, otters and fish including trout, char and salmon.
