Canaima National Park

Canaima National Park is a national park in Bolivar State in southeastern Venezuela, covering roughly 30,000 square kilometres of the Gran Sabana region and extending to the borders with Brazil and Guyana. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park is best known for its tepuis, ancient flat-topped table mountains rising abruptly from the surrounding savanna, including Auyantepui, source of Angel Falls, the world's tallest uninterrupted waterfall. Its combination of tepui geology, extensive savanna grassland and tropical forest makes it one of the largest and most distinctive protected landscapes in South America.
