Drawa National Park lies in northwestern Poland across the borders of the Greater Poland, Lubusz and West Pomeranian Voivodeships. Established in 1990 at an initial area of about 87 square kilometers and later enlarged to roughly 113 square kilometers, it takes its name from the Drawa River and protects part of the Drawsko Forest on the Drawsko Plain, administered from the town of Drawno.
