Kosciuszko National Park is a 6,900 square kilometer national park containing mainland Australias highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko, for which it is named, as well as Cabramurra, the highest town in Australia. Its borders enclose a mix of rugged mountains and wilderness with an alpine climate, making it popular with recreational skiers and bushwalkers.
