Lofotodden National Park covers the southern part of Moskenesoya island in the Lofoten archipelago of Nordland county, Norway, spanning the Moskenes and Flakstad municipalities. Established on June 22, 2018 and opened on June 9, 2019, it covers about 99 square kilometers, roughly 13 of them sea, and protects a mountain range of volcanic rock and granite whose highest summit, Hermannsdalstinden, reaches 1,029 meters, along with rubble forests, bogs, cliffed coastline, sand dunes and endangered seabirds such as black guillemots and European shags.
