Mollem National Park

Mollem National Park, formally the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, is a protected area of about 240 square kilometers in the Western Ghats of Goa, India, in the Dharbandora region near the Karnataka border, with a national park core of 107 square kilometers first declared in 1978 after the surrounding sanctuary was created in 1969. The park protects Bengal tigers, leopards, gaur, sambar deer and pangolins among 722 recorded flowering plant species, 128 of them endemic, and is home to the Dudhsagar Falls, at 310 meters the tallest waterfall in Goa, and the twelfth century Tambdi Surla temple.
