Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park spans Niigata and Nagano prefectures in central Japan, designated on March 27, 2015 from territory formerly part of Joshinetsu-Kogen National Park, covering about 398 square kilometers. It contains the peaks of Mount Hiuchi, Mount Myoko and the active volcano Niigata-Yakeyama, along with Lake Nojiri and Lake Reisenji.
