Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 square kilometre not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County, established on former cattle ranch land as Sweetwaters Game Reserve in 1988 and reorganized under its present conservation-focused ownership in 2004. It is home to the last two northern white rhinoceroses on Earth and the largest black rhinoceros sanctuary in East Africa, alongside populations of all of the traditional Big Five game species, and it is run in partnership with Fauna and Flora International with support from the Arcus Foundation. Ol Pejeta combines wildlife protection with cattle ranching and tourism revenue that funds both conservation work and community programs in the surrounding region.
