Oze National Park spans Fukushima, Tochigi, Gunma and Niigata prefectures in central Japan, designated on August 30, 2007 as the country's 29th national park, its first new national park in twenty years, and covers about 372 square kilometers. It centers on the Ozegahara marshes, a Ramsar wetland since 2005, and surrounding peaks including Mount Aizu-Komagatake, land that had previously belonged to Nikko National Park.
