Pieljekaise National Park is in Norrbotten County in Swedish Lapland, established in 1909 as one of the first nine national parks in Sweden and covering about 15,340 hectares. It is composed of birch forest, mountain terrain and several lakes, and takes its name from Pieljekaise Mountain, a landmark within the park.
