Red Hill Patrick Henry National Memorial, known locally as Red Hill, is a historic site in Charlotte County, Virginia, near Brookneal, that preserves the final home and burial place of Founding Father Patrick Henry. Henry purchased the Red Hill plantation on his retirement in 1794 and lived there with his wife Dorothea and their children until his death in 1799. The roughly 1,000 acre site, designated a national memorial in 1986 and maintained by the Patrick Henry Memorial Foundation, operates as a house museum affiliated with the National Park Service.
