Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site, near Beech Island in Aiken County, South Carolina, preserves a Greek Revival mansion completed in 1859 that was home to four generations of the Hammond family. The roughly 369 acre South Carolina state park, managed by South Carolina State Parks, also includes two circa 1857 cabins that interpret the lives of the approximately 300 people the Hammonds enslaved, and it participates in the Reconstruction Era National Historic Network. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
