Sånfjället National Park lies in Jämtland County in central Sweden, established in 1909 as one of the first nine national parks in Sweden and covering about 10,300 hectares. It is named after the 1,278 meter mountain Sånfjället, and its mountainous terrain is intersected by streaming lakes and forest.
