Sultanpur National Park

Sultanpur National Park is a wetland protected area of about 1.43 square kilometers in Sultanpur village, Farrukhnagar, in Gurgaon district, Haryana, India, first protected as a bird sanctuary in 1972 and declared a national park in July 1991. It was designated a Ramsar wetland on May 25 2021, and its acacia, berberis and neem vegetation supports more than 100 resident bird species such as hoopoes, kingfishers, eagles and storks along with over 100 migratory species each year, notably Siberian cranes and greater flamingos, while its grasslands hold nilgai, Bengal foxes and blackbuck.
