Torronsuo National Park protects a large ombrotrophic raised bog in Finland Kanta-Häme region. Established in 1990, though the area was already protected before its official designation, the IUCN Category II park covers about 25.5 square kilometers and holds one of Finland thickest peat layers, reaching 12 meters in depth in places. About 100 bird species nest in the park, including northern species rarely seen elsewhere in southern Finland, and it also supports a notable butterfly population; managed by Metsähallitus, it drew about 58,600 visitors in 2024.
