Valmiki National Park is a national park and tiger reserve in the West Champaran district of Bihar, India, covering about 898 square kilometers, and is the only national park in the state. It was established as a wildlife sanctuary in 1978 and designated a national park in 1990, and is recognized as the eighteenth tiger reserve of India.
