Varner-Hogg Plantation State Historic Site, outside West Columbia in Brazoria County, Texas, preserves the home of former Texas governor James S. Hogg and his family, built around a log cabin dating to 1824 and later rebuilt in the Greek Revival style. The Texas Historical Commission operates the roughly 66 acre site, designated a Texas State Historic Site in 1958 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, as well as a Texas State Antiquities Landmark and Recorded Texas Historic Landmark.
