Yoshino-Kumano National Park spans Mie, Nara and Wakayama prefectures in the Kansai region of Japan, established on February 1, 1936 and covering about 616 square kilometers. It includes Mount Yoshino, famed for its seasonal cherry blossoms, along with the Dorokyo Gorge, the Kumano Hongu Taisha shrine, Nachi Falls and sections of the Kii Mountain Range pilgrimage routes recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
