Rivers whose course runs mainly through Africa, grouped here by continent for browsing rather than mixed into one worldwide list: the Nile, the Congo, the Niger and the Zambezi are among the entries filed here. Each entry records the river's length, its source and mouth, and the countries its course passes through, so a reader comparing rivers within one continent is not also comparing across continents with very different scales.
