The Zambezi is the fourth longest river in Africa and the longest east flowing river on the continent, rising in Zambia and crossing or bordering Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique before reaching the Indian Ocean. Victoria Falls, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, is its best known feature.
