Bioko Norte is the second-most populated of the eight provinces of Equatorial Guinea. It contained 300,374 of the island's 335,048 inhabitants in 2015, across an area of 776 square kilometers, subdivided into the districts of Malabo and Baney. The provincial capital is Rebola; the former national capital, Malabo, is also located here.
