Demerara-Mahaica, also known as Region 4, is a region of Guyana. Its capital is Georgetown, the national capital and largest city of Guyana. It covers 2,232 square kilometers, the smallest region by area in Guyana, and had a population of 347,759 at the 2022 census, the country's most populous region.
