Ouest (French for West) is one of the ten departments of Haiti, located in south-central Haiti. It is the jurisdictional seat of Haiti's national capital, the city of Port-au-Prince. It has an area of 4,982.56 square kilometers and a population of 4,029,705 at a 2015 estimate, the largest department by both area and population in Haiti.
