Djibouti

Djibouti is a country in the Horn of Africa on the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, bordered by Eritrea to the north, Ethiopia to the southwest, and Somalia to the south, controlling strategically important shipping lanes and serving as a key port for Ethiopian trade. It gained independence from France on 27 June 1977. It is a unitary presidential republic under a hereditary dictatorship, per its own Wikipedia infobox. Its capital, Djibouti City, shares its name with the country.
