Andhra Pradesh is a state on India's southeastern coast, fronting the Bay of Bengal and bordered by Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. It is the seventh largest Indian state by area and the tenth largest by population. Telugu, one of India's classical languages, is the state's official and most widely spoken language; Amaravati is the capital and Visakhapatnam the largest city.
