Supra-national groupings this atlas documents above the level of a single country: continental divisions under the UN M49 geoscheme, and a small number of transregional or maritime groupings, such as the Mediterranean rim, that genuinely cross continents or sit outside sovereign territory. A region is a grouping fact, not a place with its own government or population in the way a country is; this band is where a reader browses geography at the scale of Africa, Asia or Europe as a whole before narrowing to any one member country.

View At A Past Year

The atlas records no dated fact of its own for this entry, so there is no other year to choose.
