Cities of Western Europe (World)

Cities of Western Europe (World) collects this atlas's city entities that sit within the Western Europe subregion of the United Nations M49 standard, region code 155. The UN Statistics Division's M49 overview page assigns these places to Western Europe: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands and Switzerland. This group node anchors every atlas city already tied to one of those Western European countries, from major capitals such as Paris, Berlin and Brussels to smaller present day municipal seats, so a reader can browse the region's urban settlements as one connected set instead of hunting country by country through the atlas's own country listing.
