National Parks of Germany

This group collects the 17 Protected Areas: National Park subcategory members that the atlas places in Germany, identified from each park's own sourced entity-description text. It sits as a second-level group nested under National Parks of Europe, one of the subcategory's seven world-region groups, since Europe alone carries 257 of the subcategory's members, past the atlas's hundred-member threshold, and needed a further split by country. A reader looking for a national park in Germany can go straight to this group instead of scanning all 257 European parks on the National Parks of Europe page or the whole subcategory beyond that. Parks in every other European country the atlas covers at this same level sit in their own separate country group rather than here.
